The outlined process below is applied to produce artificial rock walls, figures and other elements that are made with gunite.

First of all, we build a volume mesh structure, with measurements 15x15x5. This structure is affixed in the back with geotextile fabric, which serves as glue for the first pass of shotcrete. This first shotcrete is applied to completely cover the mesh structure.

Once the mesh is covered, we make a second pass of shotcret, and over this second pass we will apply finished and textured.

Then we proceed to finishing the elements with a suitable paint for theming, silicate, acrylic paints, pigments, etc.., Depending on the particular work.

For theming where volume texture is not required, i.e. surfaces such as walls, we will apply on a mesh wall 15x15x5, which is covered with a first pass of gunite as in the previous procedure, giving finally the desired finish imitating ruins, rocks or other textures.

We already know the result, but we would like to show you some pictures of the "how it s made".
