Expansions in the park Etnaland (Catania) will include an attraction based on a train-themed mining due to open next spring 2013. This new work will be part of Etnaland's themed park.
On the occasion of the presentation of these new additions to the media, the specialized in parks Italian website Theparks.it echoed this press release which mentions Arte in Situ Tematización as part of the team that will work on the new attractions:

E mentre la tempesta continua ad infuriare imperterrita (news 11/05) ecco l'erigersi di una nuova grande attrazione nel parco siculo, Mine Train, il famoso e sempre apprezzato treno della miniera, attrazione che qualsiasi parco che si rispetti offre al suo pubblico.
Etnaland però non si ferma qui, Mine Train sarà infatti tematizzato riproducendo una vecchia miniera di inizio '900 dal team Arte Insitu e dall'Art Director Hester Kloosterboer.
L'attrazione è realizzata dall'americana S&S Wordwide, fornitrice anche della Shot & Drop Tower, sarà articolata per circa 580 m su un percorso alto fino a 24 m tra rapidi cambi di direzione ed eliche. La capienza stimata è di 800 persone ogni ora.

Giovedì 14 Giugno a Roma si è tenuta la presentazione alla stampa del progetto in corso d’opera del nuovo themepark “Etnaland” che dal 2013 aprirà i suoi battenti al pubblico. Come molti di voi già sapranno questa nuova struttura sarà parte integrante del famoso parco acquatico che dal 1° luglio di quest’anno darà il via alla sua dodicesima stagione.
Presenti all’incontro l’imprenditore catanese Francesco Russello, capo del gruppo familiare proprietario del parco, Hester Kloosterboer, Art Director di Etnaland e consulente in campo tematico per l’industria dell’intrattenimento, ed Eckart Shulz, consulente ed esperto del settore.
Ecco un estratto dal comunicato stampa ufficiale :
«I lavori sono a buon punto – ha spiegato Russello - e, come da programma, nella primavera del 2013 inaugureremo a Catania il parco tematico più importante del Sud Italia, per grandezza e qualità delle attrazioni. »
Etnaland avrà infatti 26 attrazioni che affiancheranno e integreranno le 31 già offerte dal parco acquatico. L’investimento, totalmente privato, sarà di oltre 50 milioni di euroe offrirà 500 nuovi posti di lavoro. A regime il parco sarà operativo per 6 mesi consecutivi, da aprile a settembre, con ulteriori aperture occasionali in concomitanza di alcune festività. Queste sono le premesse di questo nuovo progetto.
«Ventisei nuove attrazioni, fra cui giochi assolutamente spettacolari come i due coaster “The Storm” e “Mine Train”, che consentiranno di vivere l’ebbrezza della velocità a trenta metri di altezza; una tematizzazione curata nei minimi dettagli dall’azienda spagnola Arte Insitu e dall’Art Director olandese Hester Kloosterboer, che offre un percorso che si divide in più aree che si intersecano fra di loro, offrendo attività e divertimento ad adulti e piccini spaziando da quella delle storiche miniere fino all’area spaziale. Con l’inaugurazione della prossima primavera, la Sicilia avrà un parco tematico al livello delle grandi strutture europee. »
Tra le aziende fornitrici delle attrazioni spiccano nomi come Mack Rides, Intamin, S&S Worldwide e Zamperla. Nulla sarà lasciato al caso grazie alla collaborazione con i più grandi professionisti del settore.

On Thursday June 14 in Rome held the press presentation of the new Etnaland themed park under construction project, which in 2013 will open its doors to the public. As many of you know, these attractions will be a part that will join the famous waterpark which from 1 July will begin its twelfth season.
They were present, the entrepeneur Russello Francesco Catania, head of household park owner; Hester Kloosterboer, Etnaland's artistic director and consultant on the field of entertainment industry, and Eckart Schulz, consultant and expert in the field.

Etnaland will build 26 attractions that will support and complement the 31 already existing in water park.
